Protector of the Trees

She protected the things that mattered to her most; the trees. They were her shelter every day and every night for as long as she could remember. As she lied beneath them, ear to soil, she thanked the roots for keeping the trees alive and well. As a fierce warrior, there's nothing she wouldn't do to keep the trees of the forest safe because that's exactly what they've done for her.

This is a beautiful soft pastel original painting that features the stunning imagery of a female warrior in the forest. The art was painted on mixed media paper and adhered to a 16x20 gallery cradled wooden panel that is 1.5 inches deep. Art has been finished with a fixative spray and then hand-buffed with a wax medium as a protectant.
